I spent thousands on red light serums so you didn’t have to! I’ve been using our RLT devices for years, and for the majority of those years, the research and science indicated that you needed to have a clean face / clean skin, no sweat, no heat, and no product of any kind to get the most out of RLT. Fast forward to the last six months, and there have been so many new products hitting the market with exciting ingredients that are shown to increase RLT’s effectiveness. Naturally, I needed to try as many as I could find. Some are full-blown redlight device-specific products, and some are single-ingredient products (that you may already have at home). Use at your own discretion; we may find out in a year that these do nothing, and it is best to have a completely clean face. However, for now, the science is promising that these actually work.
RLT DEVICES WE HAVE
- JOOVV (medical grade red light):
- ELITE (20 minutes a day, 10 minutes each side in the AM)
- SOLO (whenever I am at my desk at home)
- MINI (at Josh’s office and sits on his desk)
- GO (comes with us while traveling)
- OMNILUX
- THERABODY
One thing to note, redlight devices and infrared saunas ARE NOT THE SAME
REDLIGHT SKINCARE OPTIONS
- SERUMS
- INDIVIDUAL INGREDIENTS
- SKIN SUPPLEMENTS
- To potentially enhance the effects of red light therapy, some vitamins and supplements often recommended include vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B12, and niacinamide (also known as vitamin B3). These nutrients, particularly vitamin C and vitamin E, are known for their antioxidant properties and can work synergistically with red light to boost collagen production, improve skin tone, and protect against environmental damage
- POST RLT SKINCARE
- To enhance the effects of RLT, add the following topicals AFTER your session
I have been going back and forth between the products listed above, and I have found that rotating between L.A.D.R., hyaluronic acid, and the copper peptides has yielded the best results!
