Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions

  • Set your oven to 350 and spray a 9 x 5 loaf pan and set asidde
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the bananas, butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract
  • Once combined, all the flour, baking soda, and salt
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon together
  • Layer the loaf tin with 1/2 of the batter, add 1/2 of the cinnamon mixture on top, add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon sugar. Use a knife to swirl and marble the layers together
  • Bake for 60 – 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. If the brown begins to brown too quickly, tent with foill
  • Let the bread cool for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to completely cool before slicing
