Ingredients
- 2lbs ground elk (or beef)
- 2 green bell peppers- diced
- 1 onion- diced
- 2 TBSP minced garlic
- 10oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 2 cups beef or bone broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or macaroni)
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown meat over medium heat
- While the meat is browning, boil your water for your pasta and cook per the directions
- Add the peppers, onions, and garlic to the meat once it is browned and drained. Cook together until vegetables are fragrant (6-7 minutes)
- Add broth, cream cheese, and heavy cream to the meat mixture. Stir together until melted together
- Mix in cooked noodles and 1 cup cheese, stirring together until combined
- Serve with additional cheese on top; add salt and pepper to taste
