Ingredients
- 2lbs ground antelope (or any ground meat)
- 4 large potatoes or 6 medium potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- Fresh chives or parsley for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Set oven to 350 and spray a 9 x 13 pan
- In a medium skillet, add oil. Brown meat and cook onions until they are see-through
- In a bowl, combine soup and milk. Add soup mixture to cooked meat and mix. Season the mixture with the garlic powder
- Peel and thinly slice potatoes
- Layer half the potatoes, half the meat mixture, and half the cheese. Then repeat (the top layer will be your cheese)
- Cover the baking dish with foil and cook for 40 minutes. Remove foil and cook for an additional 20 minutes
- Remove from oven, top with garnish, and enjoy once cooled
