With fall slowly creeping near, I am running through a bunch of crockpot recipes to try out! I was craving pizza so this one just seemed perfect to test. As always, you can use any meat you have on hand!
Ingredients
- 2lbs venison italian sausage
- 32oz beef broth
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 16oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/3 cup black olives- drained
- 2 green peppers- chopped
- 1 yellow onion- chopped
- 1 TBSP pizza seasoning
- To top: shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown italian sausage- breaking it as you cook it. Drain excess fat
- Place all ingredients except cheese into crockpot and cook on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally
- Serve and top with cheese if desired
