Josh said this was one of his favorite recipes I have ever made! With fall and winter right around the corner, a crockpot meal is an absolute move! Plus, you only need a few ingredients!
Ingredients
- 2 – 3lb venison roast (or beef)
- 2 cups broth + 2 cups water
- 1 packet French onion seasoning
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 white onion- diced
Directions
- In a crockpot, combine all ingredients. The water likely won’t cover the roast (depending on the shape of it). If you leave the lid on the crock pot, it won’t need to be covered in liquid. Just flip halfway through and then shred if desired. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Enjoy with homemade mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, etc!
