I rearranged our stand up freezer the other day to get ready for this hunting season and all of it’s bounty. I found a bag of two turkey breasts from last spring and decided to make white turkey chili! This can obviously be done with chicken or store bought turkey, simple sharing what we use and how we use it!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs: turkey breast
- 2 cups broth of choice
- 2 cans white kidney beans- rinsed and drained
- 12oz canned corn, drained
- 4.3oz jar green chiles
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4oz cream cheese- room temperature
- 1 TBSP corn starch
Directions
- The night before, add turkey breasts and water (enough to cover) in a crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours
- In the morning, shred the turkey meat
- In a crockpot, add all ingredients and stir occasionally
- Cook 3 hours on high and serve!
