Baked Vodka Elk Pasta

Ingredients

  • 3lbs ground elk (or meat of choice)- browned
  • 12oz pasta of choice (I use sourdough noodles from Thrive)
    • *This can be done with spaghetti, rigatoni, etc (the shape of the noodle is irrelevant)
  • 12oz marinara sauce
  • 12oz Alfredo sauce
  • 8oz cream cheese- softened
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 TSBP garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Set your oven to 375
  • Over medium heat, brown the ground meat
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the box’s instructions. Drain once cooked
  • In a large bowl, combine both sauces, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and garlic powder
  • Add cooked meat and noodles to the sauce and combine
  • Spread mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and top with shredded cheese
  • Cover pan with foil and bake for 40 minutes
  • For the last 2-3 minutes, remove the foil and broil- watch closely
  • Remove from the oven, let cool, and enjoy!
