Ingredients
- 3lbs ground elk (or meat of choice)- browned
- 12oz pasta of choice (I use sourdough noodles from Thrive)
- *This can be done with spaghetti, rigatoni, etc (the shape of the noodle is irrelevant)
- 12oz marinara sauce
- 12oz Alfredo sauce
- 8oz cream cheese- softened
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 TSBP garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Set your oven to 375
- Over medium heat, brown the ground meat
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the box’s instructions. Drain once cooked
- In a large bowl, combine both sauces, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and garlic powder
- Add cooked meat and noodles to the sauce and combine
- Spread mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and top with shredded cheese
- Cover pan with foil and bake for 40 minutes
- For the last 2-3 minutes, remove the foil and broil- watch closely
- Remove from the oven, let cool, and enjoy!
