Ingredients
- 8oz wheel or wedge Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
- 4 TBSP hot honey (could use regular honey as well) and more for topping
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Set your oven to 350
- Prep the cheese wheel by scoring a circle on its rind about 1/4 inch from the edge (this will make removing the rind easier if it’s baked)
- Place brie on a cookie sheet or pie plate
- Bake for 15 – 20 minutes
- While the cheese is baking, toast pecans or walnuts in a skillet on low heat. Keep stirring until they smell rich and nutty. Mix in honey, cinnamon, and salt. Let them cook until it’s bubbly
- When the brie is done, remove the top rind with a knife, exposing the melted cheese
- Top with additional honey and candied pecans
