This batch size is great to keep at home (the trick is not to eat it all in one sitting). If you’re attending a party or using this as your cookie exchange, you will want to double or triple the recipe!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 28 saltines (enough to cover one standard cookie sheet)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions
- Set oven to 400
- Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray the foil with oil. Set aside
- Lay out saltines in one layer on the cookie sheet
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together- stirring constantly for 5 minutes
- Spread butter mixture evenly over saltines
- Bake for 5 minutes
- While they are baking, mix your sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
- Remove from oven and top with white chocolate chips- spread once it’s melted
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top
- Break pieces apart once they have cooled
- Enjoy!
