Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (o4 3/4 if not using protein powder)
- 1/2 cup flour (or 3/4 cup if not using protein powder)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 regular-sized candy canes – crushed
Directions
- In a bowl, melt butter and sugar together in the microwave for about 90 seconds
- Allow the butter mixture to cool slightly
- Add remaining ingredients minus chocolate chips and candy canes
- Once the batter is mixed, fold in chocolate chips and 1/2 the crushed candy canes
- Allow batter to cool in the fridge for at least an hour
- Once the batter is chilled, turn oven on to 375, scoop about 3 TBSP worth of batter in a ball and place it on sprayed cookie sheet
- Top with remaining candy cane pieces
- Bake for 9 – 13 minutes (until the center isn’t gooey)
- Let cool and enjoy!
