I’m always trying to come up with new ways to use our venison that aren’t just chili or spaghetti. These patty melts were insanely easy to make! Try them with your next deer (or beef)!
Ingredients
- 1lb ground venison
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Montreal-style steak seasoning
- 2 TBSP butter, softened
- 6 slices of bread of choice
- 6 slices cheese of choice
- Thousand Island (for dipping)
Directions
- In a bowl, combine venison, Worcestershire, and steak seasoning. Mix with hands and form into patties
- On a griddle, grill, or pan- cook patties until cooked throughout, flipping after a few minutes
- Butter bread and layer: butter down bread, cheese, patty, cheese, bread butter up. Cook for several minutes over medium heat until bread is toasty and then flip
- I like to press the sandwich once it’s flipped so everything melts together
- Serve with dressing and enjoy!
