Sourdough Discard White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

My sourdough is back! I took a break from making it when we were in Africa and up until about a week ago but we are back at it! Also- cookies are very hard to photograph. These were PERFECT!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sourdough discard
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped raw macadamia nuts

Directions

  • Set oven to 375
  • In a bowl, combine butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla
  • Slowly add flour, salt, and baking soda (i mix everything with a dough hook)
  • Add sourdough, chocolate chips, and nuts
  • On a parchment covered cookie sheet, drop a spoonful of batter 3 inches apart
  • Bake for 9 – 11 minutes
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before removing
  • Enjoy!
