My sourdough is back! I took a break from making it when we were in Africa and up until about a week ago but we are back at it! Also- cookies are very hard to photograph. These were PERFECT!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sourdough discard
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped raw macadamia nuts
Directions
- Set oven to 375
- In a bowl, combine butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla
- Slowly add flour, salt, and baking soda (i mix everything with a dough hook)
- Add sourdough, chocolate chips, and nuts
- On a parchment covered cookie sheet, drop a spoonful of batter 3 inches apart
- Bake for 9 – 11 minutes
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing
- Enjoy!
