Protein Donut Holes

A fun and easy recipe that the kids can help with! If you don’t want to use (or don’t have) protein powder on hand, just double the flour and omit the protein! However- this is a great way to sneak in extra protein for you and your family!

Ingredients (makes 24 donut holes)

For the batter:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 scoops protein hot chocolate powder
  • 1/2 cup stevia (or sugar)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 TBSP melted butter

For the glaze;

  • 2 cup powdered sugar (i use stevia powdered sugar)
  • 3 TBSP milk

Directions

  • Set oven to 325
  • Spray mini muffin tin
  • Mix all batter ingredients together and mix by hand
  • Fill each muffin cup 1/2 full
  • Bake for 7-9 minutes
  • Let cool and make glaze
  • Roll each donut hole in glaze and add sprinkles
  • Allow to set for 10 minutes
