Simple? Delicious? Crockpot? Yes yes and yes. This turkey noodle soup is such an easy recipe plus good for the soul and perfect for those rainy and gloomy days.
Ingredients:
- 1 turkey breast or 2 legs worth of cooked meat (I do mine in the crock pot, simply cover meat with water and cook 6-8 hours on low and then shred)
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups chopped carrots
- 3 cups shopped celery
- 1 white onion- chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups egg noodles
Directions:
- In a crockpot, add all ingredients minus noodles. Cook on high 3-4 hours
- Add egg noodles 15 minutes prior to serving
- Stir in noodles, cover, and serve after 15 minutes
- Enjoy!
