Hey guys! If you’re new around here, I am Sarah Bowmar and I am so excited to share this recipe with you! This watermelon, cucumber and feta cheese salad combines so many of my favorite things! Fruit, veggies and cheese all in one recipe and I know that I will be a happy girl. I know I am sharing this during winter, but over the summer this was deemed the “Sarah Bowmar summer salad”! It is super easy to make and only 4 ingredients! Take about a winner! This is light, refreshing and a crowd pleaser! Plus you get fruit and veggies in every bite. Once large family gatherings can happen again, I will definitely bring this to a fourth of July picnic or family reunion because it is great for a hot summer day! I share all of the ingredients and details below, but as always, please feel free to reach out with any questions!
Ingredients:
6 mini cucumbers
3 cups of chopped watermelon
6 oz of feta cheese crumbles
Balsamic vinegar
Directions:
First, slice up the mini cucumbers and add them to a bowl
Next, cut up the watermelon into small cubes and put them into the same bowl
Now sprinkle in the feta cheese over all of the water melon and cucumbers
Lastly, add the balsamic vinegar and stir it all together for this tasty treat to be complete!
And now you are all done and ready to enjoy! I always think it tastes best if this goes back into the fridge for a little bit before you take your first bite! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do! This could be a great item to bring to a family cookout or your holiday gatherings–seriously so simple. Let me know what you think if you make this recipe!!
