Hi friends! I really enjoyed trying out this recipe! It was super simple and did not take me much time at all to prep and cook this recipe. I am all about the easy recipes these days! Between working and being a wife and mom, there is always a LOT to juggle so easy is the BEST. This is a yummy, healthy chick pea snack and it is super filling. It is high in fiber and protein which the Bowmar family LOVES of course. Check out the ingredients and directions below! I really hope you enjoy this snack as much as I do! 2 15.5 oz cans of chick peas
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika Powder
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
Add salt to taste
First, be sure to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. It is always such a bummer when you are finishing up the prep and then realizing you never preheated your oven!!
Drain both of the cans of chick peas
Dry the chick peas off with a paper towel
Put the chick peas in a bowl and the drizzle olive oil over top
Next, coat the chick peas with the olive oil and make sure they are each covered
On a wax paper-covered cookie/baking sheet, spread out the chick peas
Place in the oven and then bake for 25 minutes
Next, take the chick peas out of the oven and sprinkle the remaining spices on to the chick peas
Put the chick peas back in the oven and bake again for an additional 10 minutes
Now you are all done and these chick peas are ready to be enjoyed! This is a crowd favorite! I love recipes with little prep work, but that taste like you worked hours preparing! Happy cooking!
