I am sure you have heard about blue light glasses before today. I am here to tell you, as someone who looks at their phone or computer for the majority of my workday, using blue light glasses daily has helped me in more ways than one. I have significantly fewer headaches, my eyes feel less strained at night, and the skin around my eyes seems fresher and more vibrant than before. I also feel my sleep has improved tremendously (along with limiting screen time an hour before bed but let’s be honest, that usually doesn’t happen on a consistent basis). “A 2017 study done by the University of Houston found that participants wearing the glasses showed about a 58% increase in their nighttime melatonin levels.”
I was introduced to blue light glasses at my optometrist in 2015 when I went in for a new Rx and they suggested blue light glasses in my prescription frames. I of course agreed and have never turned back. If you wear prescription glasses, I would highly suggest looking into blue light lenses with your prescription when you need new frames. I have my prescription glasses as well as my generic blue light glasses. I primarily wear my Rx frames but they broke a few months ago and I had to wait an excessive amount of time to get them replaces to in the interim, I ordered three different frames of nonprescription blue light frames that I absolutely love!
Hardwire Frames– I have both the black frames and the leopard frames
All Nighter Frames– I have these frames in the clear

I hope you found this blog helpful! This is something that has really improved my quality of life and I can truly say it will help you too!
