This recipe will be in your weekly dinner round-up. It’s so good and full of protein; the kids will LOVE it! There’s no prep work, no chopping, no dicing, and hardly anything to clean up as it’s a one-pot recipe 🙂
Ingredients
- 2lbs ground elk (or venison, beef, etc.)
- 1 can (15oz) pizza sauce
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14oz) Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 package sliced pepperoni
- Optional: shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
Directions
- Brown meat in a large soup pot and drain the fat
- Add all remaining ingredients to the pot. Stir together and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer, uncovered, for 20 – 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of water if the chili is too thick for your preference
- Top with cheese (if using) and serve with garlic bread or breadsticks

How many servings is this.recipe?
This is insanely good for how simple and frankly cheap! Woohoo! Thank you!
This was so insanely good! We did it with Bison meat instead of elk. I’m 6 months pregnant with a 1 year running around so this was perfect being super easy. Packed with protein and yummy flavor. Little one loved it!
