Ok these were actually a lot easier than I thought they would be and now I have doubled how many potatoes I will be planting this year. The kids LOVE french fries but I am trying to make everything at home that I can this year!
This french fry cutter made the entire process a BREEZE
French Fries
Ingredients
- 1 potato per person you are feeding
- Ice water
- 1 TBSP oil per potato you are using
- 1/2 TBSP salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a bowl, add potatoes and cover with ice water for 15 minutes
- Set oven to 425
- Remove potatoes from water and dry
- Add to french fry cutter and dice
- Spread on cookie sheet, drizzle oil, and add seasonings
- Bake for 15 minutes and then flip and bake additional 20 minutes (or until crispy and brown)
- Remove from oven and let cool before serving
Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp pickle brine
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients and serve
