Easy Toddler Smoothie Ideas

Oakley, my daughter, absolutely loves drinking my smoothies so I wanted to share a few easy (and toddler approved) smoothie recipes. These smoothies are high in protein, vitamins, and omegas which is also great for any picky eaters out there! Please note, when it comes to supplements such as protein powder, please consult with your child’s pediatrician before administering. Oakley’s doctor has given all of the products I mention on this blog the go-ahead!

She varies in how much of the smoothie she consumes each day so I will make one and then store in the fridge  whatever she doesn’t drink. I wouldn’t recommend keeping longer than three days in the fridge. You could also make them in larger batches and freeze them if you wanted to as well! That is what I do for my own smoothies using these containers.

As always, this blog is ad-free thanks to your support through my affiliate links. If you choose to purchase using any of the links for my blog- THANK YOU. You are allowing me to keep this ad-free! I will be updating this blog with new recipes as well! This blog will be updated with new recipes as we try them! Please discuss any supplementation with your child’s pediatrician prior to administering to them!

Kitchen Items

  • Blender
  • Containers for storing seeds (I mix all of my seeds together and then scoop out of there for ease)
  • Toddler Cups with Straw

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, does not matter)
  • 1 frozen banana (make sure to peel and chop the banana before freezing it)
  • 1/2 scoop Protein Hot Chocolate
  • 1/2 scoop Collagen
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 3 TBSP seed mixture (mentioned above, I do: chia seeds, flax seed, hemp hearts)
Directions
  • Blend together, I like to add the liquid first to the blender and then the powders last.

Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk (whole, almond, does not matter)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 scoop Protein Strawberry Milkshake
  • 1/2 scoop Collagen
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 3 TBSP seed mixture (mentioned above, I do: chia seeds, flax seed, hemp hearts)
Directions
  • Blend together, I like to add the liquid first to the blender and then the powders last.

Additional things to add to any of the above that will not alter the taste but will provide amazing benefits:

Fish oil pill (opened and drained)

Cod liver oil

Vitamin drops
