Fitness & Nutrition
Sarah Bowmar began competing in fitness competitions in 2011, becoming nationally qualified in a bikini. She met her now-husband, Josh, at the 2014 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Together, that same year, they became certified as nutrition specialists and ISSA fitness trainers. To better give targeted fitness advice to women, Sarah Bowmar also became an AFPA certified prenatal and postpartum trainer in 2020.
Hunting
Sarah Bowmar and Josh are avid bowhunters, going on hunting expeditions all around the world together. Through hunting, they’ve been able to donate tens of thousands of meals to families in South Africa and Mozambique, and have dedicated themselves to the fight against poaching. They are advocates for ethical hunting methods, and actively promote the Dallas Safari Club’s anti-poaching efforts. Sarah and Josh own Bowmar Archery, where archery gear and supplies such as their patented Bowmar Nose Button can be found. Their experiences with big game hunting, travels, and bowhunting tips can be seen on their Bowmar Bowhunting Youtube Channel.
Author, Entrepreneur, Podcast Host
Not only does Sarah Bowmar have an MBA in marketing and experience working at a digital marketing agency, she has proven her expertise on an even larger level, working together with Josh to gain over 2 million followers combined across all of their social media platforms, plus over 200k Youtube subscribers and 25 million views on their Fitness and Bowhunting channels. In 2018, the Bowmars decided to put their experiences (both good and bad) and tips on paper, releasing their book, Zero to a Million without Showing Your Butthole, to inspire and advise readers in growing their own social media following.
Sarah and Josh Bowmar are entrepreneurs in fitness, nutrition, trucking and jewelry, owning multiple companies, including Bowmar Fitness (2012), Bowmar Nutrition (2018), Bowmar Archery (2020), Apex Protein Snacks (2020), Bowmar Trucking (2019), and Brack and Pine (2019), Sarah’s limited edition jewelry line.
In 2019, the Bowmars added podcast hosts to their lengthy list of titles, with the launch of The Bowmar Show. Their candid podcast style has led to almost half a million downloads and counting since the show’s inception.
Giving Back
In 2020, the Bowmars established their non-profit, Kids in the Outdoors, with the goal of giving children from urban areas a chance to spend time in nature during days of fun filled with outdoor activities.
